It's all about the food!
My "significant other" recently bought a whole basket of peaches. I knew he wasn't going to eat all those peaches by himself, even though he thought he would. And of course...I was right! (As always, we tend to know our partners better than they know themselves.)
Yesterday, when I realized that most of the peaches were still sitting there, I told him I would bake him a dessert. That's the real way he likes to eat fruit.
I had all the ingredients on hand, so this morning I whipped him up a dish of yummy....
**To peel peaches: before halving or cutting, immerse in boiling water for 40 seconds and then immediately dunk in cold water. This will help with peeling and also make the peaches juicier.
Really nice if served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side!
I was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and spent the first half my life there. I became a mom just after I turned 20 and within a couple of years, decided to move from a small town to a bigger city to take advantage of better job opportunities.
